Perry County, Indiana—The Perry County Community Foundation has extended the application deadline for the John Williams Memorial Scholarship to May 3, 2019.
The $1,500 scholarship was established in memory of John Williams, by his parents, Jim and Earla Williams, and his brother, Logan Williams. The scholarship honors a student who shares John’s love of working on vehicles.
Graduating seniors of any Perry County high school with a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average (4.0 scale) planning to pursue post secondary education or training at any accredited vocational school, trade school, or vocational college may apply. Two examples of such schools in Indiana are Ivy Tech and Vincennes University.
