Vanderburgh County, Indiana−The Vanderburgh Community Foundation is accepting applications for the Thomas F. Walls Youth Hockey Scholarship. Applications are due by midnight on Wednesday, March 27, 2019.
This annual scholarship, created in loving memory of Thomas F. Walls, encourages the highest levels of academic excellence, sportsmanship, and leadership for high school student who participate in IHSAA sanctioned sports.
Graduating seniors of any accredited Vanderburgh County high school, with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, who have participated in the Evansville Youth Hockey Association or an IHSAA sanctioned sport, are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be planning to pursue post-secondary education at any accredited college, university or technical/vocational school.
