Available Grant Opportunities
The majority of our discretionary grantmaking dollars are awarded through our Alliance partners. Our partners — the community foundations serving Daviess, Gibson, Knox, Perry, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh, and Warrick counties — are uniquely positioned to evaluate specific local needs in their communities and to provide grant funding to meet those needs.
Each Alliance partner holds an annual grant cycle. Applications submitted by nonprofit organizations are evaluated by grant committees appointed by our Alliance partners. Grants awarded during the cycle may assist charitable programs, address community issues, launch community initiatives, and support leadership development.
The Alliance also awards grants from a regional fund, the Marilyn J. Klenck Fund for Education and Literacy, to support programs and initiatives in the fields of education and literacy throughout the counties that comprise the Alliance. In addition, the Alliance manages the grant-making activities for the City of Evansville Endowment Fund, a supporting organization of the Community Foundation Alliance, Inc., to support capital projects of charitable organizations serving within the city limits of Evansville, Indiana.
