The Perry County Women’s Fund is about strong, caring, and focused women determined to make a difference in the lives of our community’s women and girls.
Throughout history, women have shaped the world as national leaders, advocates for social justice, scientists, authors, teachers, and healers. Every day, women make positive contributions to the world, and when visionary women work together around a common cause, they have an even greater impact. Like the Perry County Women’s Fund.
In 2004, a group of visionary women started the Women’s Fund as a permanent resource to support local programs that give opportunities, encouragement, knowledge and hope to our community’s women and girls.
The steering committee has planned and sponsored programs to enrich the lives of women and girls in Perry County. As the endowment grows, it will be used to make yearly grants supporting a variety of resources serving women of all ages, such as programs that prevent domestic violence, secure family-supporting jobs, promote health and education and, perhaps most importantly, develop confidence.
The Perry County Women’s Fund is our voice for the present and our gift to the future. We invite you to join us in creating change for our community’s women and girls by joining the Circle of 100.
