Available Scholarship Opportunities

Each scholarship fund has specific eligibility criteria which are determined by donors when the scholarship is created. Examples of eligibility criteria include: community of residence, school attended, grade point average, future plans, or financial need. In addition, the Community Foundation Alliance and our Community Foundation affiliates are the local administrators of the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program.

Gray Farms Presidents Scholarship


Annual scholarship established by Gray Family heirs and friends to honor the past presidents of the Gray Family business interests. This scholarship was created to encourage and provide financial assistance to high school graduates of schools located in counties where the Gray Family has historically had business.

 


Eligibility Criteria


Graduating high school seniors who attend a high school located in the following counties in Illinois, Indiana, or Kentucky who have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (4.0 unweighted scale) planning to attend an accredited college or university.

Supplemental Requirements

  • Essay: Statement of Aspirations and Educational Goals (not to exceed two typewritten, double-spaced pages)
  • Two letters of recommendation – one from a teacher and the other from someone who is not related to the applicant and is not a school official or Community Foundation Alliance Board or County Advisory Board member
  • Completion of the FAFSA
  • Official grade transcript
