A scholarship fund established in memory of Raymond and Gretchen to help students pursue advanced education.
Graduating seniors of any Gibson County high school with a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (4.0 scale) pursuing a baccalaureate degree at an accredited institution.
Selection will be based on the applicant’s financial need, level of participation in his or her church youth group, and the required essay. Preference will be given to students who have a parent employed at Duke Energy Gibson Station.
- Essay (not to exceed two typewritten, double-spaced pages) describing applicant’s aspirations and educational goals.
- Completion of the ”FAFSA” or ”FAFSA4caster.”
- Official grade transcript.
$900 (to be paid out over four years of college)
