Annual scholarship created by Kenton A. and Betty Paulin Gast in memory of Betty’s parents.
Graduates of any Perry County high school pursuing post-secondary education. Applicants must have a 2.0 (4.0 scale) minimum cumulative grade point average.
Selection will be based on financial need, difficulty of school curriculum, SAT/ACT scores, involvement in community/church service, participation in school/extracurricular activities, and a history of working hard to achieve goals.
- Essay: Statement of Perseverance describing the challenges faced in order to pursue past and/or future aspirations and goals (about 500 words/5,000 characters).
- Completion of the ”FAFSA” or ”FAFSA4caster.”
- Official grade transcript.
