(Vanderburgh County, Indiana) At their annual meeting set for Thursday, October 24 at 5:30 at the Evansville Museum, donors to the Vanderburgh County Men’s Fund held by the Vanderburgh Community Foundation will select the 2019 recipient for their Community Impact grant.
Over the past three years, the Fund has awarded impact grants totaling over $80,000 for charitable programs and projects serving Vanderburgh County.
This will be the fourth year the growing group of nearly 80 donors has presented the grant awards.
This year’s three program finalists and their proposals are:
- Dream Center Evansville for Wrap-Around Care & Academic Development,
- Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center for Children’s Mental Health Services, and
- Evansville Christian Life Center for the 24/7 Dad Initiative.
The Men’s Fund of Vanderburgh County is designed to create enjoyable social events and networking opportunities, all while improving the community. The Men’s Fund motto is “Men Who Get Things Done,” focusing on support of charitable causes that address projects and programs important to donor members. New members are welcome.
