Women’s Fund Announces Annual Grant Cycle

Warrick County, Indiana – The Women’s Fund of Warrick County, a fund of the Warrick County Community Foundation, is now seeking applicants for charitable projects or activities aimed at improving the quality of life for Warrick County families. Funding of up to $15,000 is available to support a charitable project or program. A Letter of Inquiry is the required first step for submitting funding requests.

The deadline to submit Letters of Inquiry is Thursday, January 31, 2019. All applicants will be notified of the initial review decision no later than February 6, 2019. Successful applicants will be invited to submit a formal grant application which will be due on Friday, February 22, 2019. Grant recipients will be recognized at the Women’s Fund annual Fun Day set for April 29, 2019.

The types of charitable activities that may be supported through this grant program include community development, education, health, human services, and other civic endeavors and activities that will improve the quality of life for families in Warrick County.

Consideration will be given to nonprofit organizations deemed tax-exempt under sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code and from governmental agencies serving Warrick County. Nonprofit organizations that are not classified as a 501(c)(3) public charity may be considered provided the program/ project is charitable and meets certain criteria.
